We are seeking a Senior Project Manager for a full‑time position in support of our Yorkshire Water Contract. The SPM will manage a defined team of APMs and PMs, requiring strong line management skills to effectively lead a small group. Responsibilities include ownership of challenging projects with commercial, financial, or H&S risks, and applying substantial senior project management experience to resolve delivery issues decisively.
What you will be doing:
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and wastewater division stakeholders.
- Communicate clearly in both written and verbal forms.
- Provide clear instructions and consistent delivery to inspire confidence.
- Lead localized reporting by preparing and planning concise reports for projects within your area.
- Collaborate with the Head of Capital Works to ensure efficient resource allocation for successful project delivery.
- Coordinate with the commercial team on tenders and proposals, ensuring alignment with governance processes.
- Secure new sales to support the annual financial plan.
- Ensure all projects comply with contracts, statutory regulations, SHEQ requirements, and industry standards.
- Support the business through effective communication in meetings, briefings, reporting, and other forums.
- Foster strong partnerships with suppliers to drive innovation for customers.
