We are the UK’s largest end to end drainage solution provider with depots strategically located across the UK from Aberdeen to Plymouth, to ensure round the clock coverage for customers and clients alike.
About The Role:
An opportunity has arisen to recruit an experienced Sales Professional with drive and ambition to be appointed into the role of Area Development Manager for one of our well established UK Drainage Depots. This role is reporting to the Regional Sales manager to develop new business opportunities and maintain as well develop existing relationships.
Location: Aberdeen
Hours: Monday to Friday – 37.5 Hours per week.
Salary : Basic (depending on previous experience + uncapped earning potential) OTE 75k
Responsibilities – But Not Limited To:
- Targeting and sourcing new business across the region
- Working with National accounts to develop and grow business
- Attending site visits to evaluate work requested
- Quoting for works quickly in accordance with costings
- Proactively following up on quotations to secure business
- Upselling to existing clients, maintaining relationships and understand future needs to secure business
- Managing your own diary, administration
- Working closely with depot manager to achieve sales targets and forecasting
- Travelling to various locations and regional training events & meetings
- Attending sales events, networking events
- Proactively selling the services through advertising campaigns and linkedin etc
Experience And Qualifications Required For The Role:
- Business to Business Sales experience essential
- Service industry sales experience – ideally with drainage/waste management or construction related industry or multi utility essential
- Excellent work ethic who can go above and beyond to ensure the best service is delivered
- Desire to succeed in a niche but highly rewarding market

About The Role:
We are actively seeking a Area Development Manager, to join our friendly and dedicated team. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager successful applicants will be targeted on the development and sustaining on new business as well as the management and relationship building of current clients.
Location: Anglian
Hours: Monday to Friday – 40 Hours per week.
Responsibilities – But Not Limited To:
Within the role you will be targeted with sourcing new business essential to the growth of the company.
Successful applicants will conduct site visits to evaluate works being requested, confirm the company are in a position to conduct work, quote works and liaise with the operational team to delivery exceptional service in a cost effective and timely manner.
Working closely with the depots managers you will be instrumental in helping the depot achieve sales targets as well as provide accurate forecasts for expected sales.
Due to the nature of the role successful applicants will require a full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points. Applicants will be expected to attend on site visits, cold calling and travel when required for regional meetings.
Experience And Qualifications Required For The Role:
Exceptional sales and customer service skills are key to success in this role. We are looking for a dedicated individual who is hungry to do well, ambitious, hardworking and able to show initiative. Applicants will have established sales experience in the ideally within the multi utility/drainage industry
