About the Role:
We are actively seeking an Area Development Manager to join our friendly and dedicated team. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, successful applicants will be targeted on the development and sustaining of new business as well as the management and relationship building of current clients. We are looking for applicants with experience within the Utility, Drainage, Construction or Hire industry.
Location: Slough
Salary: £75,000 OTE
Hours: Monday to Friday – 37.5 Hours per week.
Responsibilities – but not limited to:
- Targeted with sourcing new business essential to the growth of the company.
- Conduct site visits to evaluate works being requested, confirm the company is in a position to conduct work, quote works and liaise with the operational team to deliver exceptional service in a cost-effective and timely manner.
- Work closely with the depot managers to help achieve sales targets and provide accurate forecasts for expected sales.
- Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points required.
- Attend on-site visits, cold calling and travel when required for regional meetings.

- Exceptional sales and customer service skills are key to success in this role.
- A dedicated individual who is hungry to do well, ambitious, hardworking and able to show initiative.
- Established sales experience ideally within the multi-utility/drainage industry.
