About the Role
The role is working alongside an HGV Grab Driver.
Experience is desirable but not mandatory; we welcome individuals with an interest and enthusiasm to learn and progress.
Full training will be provided.
Location: Leyland/Warrington/Stockport Hours: 50 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 06:30am – 16:30pm (30-minute unpaid break) Salary: £33,800 per annum (overtime paid at X1.5)
Responsibilities
- Working on site as part of a team
- Muck away operations
- Assisting the grab driver with collecting and delivering aggregates
- Good customer service skills required when dealing with internal and external personnel
- Complete all relevant paperwork associated with day‑to‑day tasks
- Using a tablet for data collation
- Assisting in backfilling, compacting trenches and patches (reinstatements)
- Excellent housekeeping of the site, adhering to all health and safety policies
