An ideal applicant will have past internal recruitment or external agency experience with a good understanding of the entire recruitment cycle. Position: Talent Acquisition Partner
Location: Guildford Office (Guildford, Surrey). You will also be required to travel to our office in Slough and may need to visit depots on our network, so a driver’s licence is essential.
Job Type: Permanent, full-time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (start times to be discussed)
Salary: Depending upon experience

About the Role: Due to continued growth and development, we are looking for a people-focused individual to deliver real and effective solutions to people-oriented problems. Your responsibilities will include:
- Sourcing candidates from junior to senior level roles
- Dealing with high volume recruitment
- Interviewing candidates / prescreening / attending selection panels
- Liaising with line managers throughout the business to understand varying recruitment needs
- Liaising with both internal and external staff and professional organisations (veterans societies, government schemes, universities and colleges, etc.)
- Diary management, administration and carrying out employment checks
- Assisting in training / development of managers on the talent process
- Attending job fairs, schools and colleges
- Involvement and management of apprenticeship programmes and assisting the People team and Learning and Development with associated administration
- Data reporting for MI (Excel skills essential)
- Assisting marketing with advertising vacancies / social media and intranet
- Assistance with ad-hoc projects / duties as required to support the business
- Be aware of all Lanes Group policies and your responsibilities towards them
- Any other reasonable ad-hoc duties, tasks or projects as requested by management

About You: The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous Talent Acquisition experience
- Experience of sourcing for sales, commercial or technical civil engineering roles would be advantageous
- LinkedIn Recruiter experience
- Headhunting experience would be desirable
- Confidentiality & discretion and displays high levels of diplomacy
- Adaptability
- Ability to work at pace and on multiple demanding projects simultaneously
- Driver’s licence is essential to visit sites on occasions
