Location: Guildford, Surrey

Job Type: Permanent, full-time

Hours: Monday to Friday, 50 hours (start times to be discussed on interview)

Responsibilities

  • Effective Planning: Develop comprehensive plans that outline project objectives, scope, tasks, timeline and deliverables. Update schedules as needed and communicate with stakeholders to ensure projects stay on track and within timeframe.
  • Resource Planning: Allocate resources (manpower, materials and equipment) and assign tasks to ensure successful project completion.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships. Liaising with stakeholders between site teams and engineers, advising on potential delays or risks to project.
  • Quality Assurance and Reporting: Monitor, analyse and report on project progress ensuring at all times communication is clear and accurate and to a high standard. Provide regular progress reports and forecasts for project managers, clients, and stakeholders. Identify variations or changes to project plans.

  • Planning and Organising: ability to structure complex tasks, manage timelines, and prioritise effectively.
  • Problem Solving: identify issues, analyse root causes, and implement practical solutions.
  • Communicating and Influencing: strong interpersonal skills to convey information clearly.

  • Proven experience in planning and accurate reporting.
  • Strong understanding of the water industry operations and safety standards.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
