Responsibilities
- Travel to residential sites via HGV in a two-person team, using a high-pressure water jet for restoration.
- Clean, clear and maintain drainage systems.
- Record each job report correctly on the specialist equipment provided.
- Run diagnostics and repairs on drains.
- Deliver good customer service.
- Maintain good H&S practice while carrying out works.
- Ensure vehicle stock is full and replenished.
- Comply with health and safety responsibilities (PPE, safe site set-ups, protecting employees, the public and other road users).
- Utilise VISTEC and Salesforce platforms.
- Liaise with the client regarding progress and any updates.
- Work unsupervised in all weather conditions using correct PPE and lone worker system.
- Dynamically risk-assess site access and working conditions based on specific circumstances upon arrival.
- Provide support to colleagues.
- Conduct thorough inspections of tools, equipment and plant before and after use.
- Report any defects or malfunctions in relation to training.
- Carry out risk assessments and demonstrate a mature approach to risk perception.
- Be aware of all Lanes Group policies and your responsibility towards them.
- Perform any other reasonable ad-hoc duties requested by management.
Qualifications
- Experience with high-pressure jetting equipment is useful but not essential.
- Other drainage qualifications (e.g., NRSWA, Confined Spaces) are an advantage.
