We are looking to bring on an experienced Group Financial Controller to lead our Finance team at Senior leadership level to evolve the businesses financial function as we continue to rapidly grow. The Group Financial Controller will be a central role in shaping how finance supports growth, delivering sharper insights, stronger control and better decision-making across the business.
The Role
- The Group Financial Director is a senior leadership role responsible for setting and executing the financial strategy across all brands and venues.
- The role owns brand, accounting, treasury, systemized finance operations and acts as the point of accountability to the Board for financial reporting performance.
- Lead transformation of finance processes through ERP optimisation, automation, and AI tools.
- Own finance systems roadmap (integration, reporting tools, dashboards).
- Develop real-time KPI dashboards for operational and financial performance.
- Elevate monthly management packs with clear, actionable insights.
- Strengthen cashflow forecasting and liquidity planning.
- Optimise working capital cycles across a multi-site model.
- Ensure robust financial controls, compliance, and regulatory adherence.
- Lead day-to-day performance of the group finance team and have the ability to develop, mentor, and upgrade capability - taking the team 'to the next level.'
To be a success with Lane7, you'll have:
- Proven Group financial leadership experience in a multi-site, consumer-facing business.
- Multi-site experience in a £100m+ scale business.
- Experience as a group financial controller that has previously delivered faster, systemised finance operations.
- The experience in being a strong operator and people leader.
- The ability to thrive in a fast paced, rapidly growing environment.
- Confident board-level communicator, comfortable with data, challenge and accountability.
