About Us
Lane7 is the UK's fastest growing and biggest independent boutique bowling destination. We have multiple venues across our Lane7, Level X, Gutterball and ML7 brands. Bowling has always been our thing - since launch in 2013, but really, we're all your best nights in one: Pool, golf, darts, karaoke, arcades and a ton of next-level gaming experiences, combined with great drinks and fabulous food. A night with friends, date night, special celebrations and private functions… we’ve got every occasion covered.
Could you be what we’re looking for? We’re recruiting for a Corporate Sales Executive that will be based in the heart of our newest venue in Glasgow. We are looking for someone who is commercially focused and dedicated to inbound corporate and group enquiry conversion and exceptional booking communication. This role does not focus on outbound sales or pipeline generation. Instead, it plays a critical role in maximising revenue from inbound enquiries by responding quickly, converting effectively, and ensuring every booking is organised, accurate, and handed over seamlessly to operations.
You’ll report directly into the Corporate Sales Manager, working closely with venue teams to deliver smooth, well-communicated events that guests love, and venues can execute with confidence.
The Role
- Handle inbound corporate, group, and event enquiries via phone, email, web platforms, and third-party channels.
- Respond to enquiries within agreed SLAs, following Lane7 enquiry-handling standards.
- Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings through clear proposals, confident upselling, and strong follow-up.
- Create, manage, and maintain accurate bookings within the booking system.
- Produce detailed event sheets, run sheets, and function sheets in line with Lane7 standards.
- Ensure all booking details are complete, accurate, and commercially sound before confirmation.
- Act as the key point of contact between the guest and the venue for confirmed bookings.
- Proactively flag risks, special requirements, or capacity considerations to the Corporate Sales Manager and venue leadership.
- Support venue teams with post-event queries and aftercare where required.
To be a success with Lane7, you’ll:
- Experience in hospitality, events, reservations, or sales administration (venue or multi-site preferred).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a guest-first mindset.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Be confident handling multiple enquiries and bookings simultaneously.
- Have commercial awareness and a natural ability to upsell appropriately.
- Be comfortable using booking systems, CRM tools, and shared inboxes.
- Be reliable, proactive, and accountable.
What We’ll Offer
- Salary - To be discussed
- Plus performance bonus
- 28 days holiday per year (plus 1 day for every year worked, up to 5 years)
- Private Health insurance & benefits through Vitality
- Company pension contribution
- Free bowling and activities for you and up to 3 others when you aren’t working (off-peak time)
