  • Follow relevant checklists and procedures for each case.
  • Obtain appropriate authorisation before releasing information.
  • Prepare bulk mailings such as annual newsletters and pension increases.
  • Communicate effectively with members and third parties.
  • Develop knowledge of clients through daily work, collaboration, and referencing the scheme's administration guide and notes.
  • Identify scheme-specific details that may not apply universally.
  • Ensure compliance with LCP procedures in case handling.
  • Stay updated on legislative changes affecting pensions.
  • Understand concepts like preservation, statutory increases, contracting-out (including GMPs), and pensions tax regime.
  • Draft non-standard correspondence as needed.
