What’s the role and who are we looking for?
You will be joining at an exciting time of change as we scale globally. This role offers the opportunity to directly impact the success of key business transformation projects while working in a forward-thinking and supportive environment. You\’ll have the autonomy to make a difference, in a high profile role, backed by a collaborative team and leadership committed to innovation.
We need someone who is prepared to get their ‘hands dirty’ and fully engage in all aspects of finance activities and projects. You will be actively involved in supporting the Head of Finance, the Financial controller and the Finance managers as LCP builds on its high level of professional services across multiple offices, countries and company entities. You will be able to provide structure and create policy to ensure change management is adhered to and documented, whilst still ensuring an agile approach to respond to new requirements from across the business resulting in systems that can be managed and scaled as the firm grows into the future.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining and develop financial systems including reporting tools, databases and integrations
- Leading and contribute to firmwide systems projects including ERP, Proactive Management, Expenses, Reporting and Finance-related automation
- Designing, building and document reports and other dashboards in PowerBI and Excel
- Creating and maintaining SQL Objects (Views, Stored Procedures) to support reporting and data analysis needs
- Acting as a liaison between Finance, IT and other business functions for system-related initiatives
- Developing solutions using Microsoft Power Apps, SharePoint and other applications to enhance business workflows
- Evaluating new tools, systems, and processes for continuous improvement and efficiency
What skills, qualities and experience are we looking for?
- Proven experience working within Finance and/or professional services firms with an understanding of capital cycle, WIP and time billing, credit control and receivables, payables, management accounts, income statements, balance sheet reporting and working with auditors
- Experience with Transact-SQL and SQL objects (Views, stored procedures)
- Proficiency in: Power BI, Power Apps, Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables etc) Access, SharePoint and Microsoft Teams
- Demonstrated experience in leading and delivering firmwide systems or transformation projects through collaboration with various teams
- Experience in documenting systems, processes and reports clearly and concisely
- CIMA / ACCA certified or part qualified is highly desirable
