Your Role: The type of work you can expect to be involved in as a summer student:
- Learning to code in C#, taking on an independent project involving software development and/or data analysis
- Leveraging the expertise of our energy experts to build an understanding of energy data
- Investigating and analysing complex datasets
- Engaging with modern software development practices such as workflow management, code reviews, branching and merging, testing
- Expanding skills and knowledge through regular training and on-the-job coaching
What We’re Looking For:
- Studying for a Degree in a Numerical subject and on track to achieve a 2:1
- Some programming experience with coding languages such as Python or C#
- Competence with Microsoft Excel and data analysis
- Problem solving, numeracy and analytical skills
- An interest in the energy transition and an awareness of topical issues
