Location: This role involves leading a team of developers, testers, and other stakeholders, as well as collaborating with product managers and other cross-functional teams. The role should have strong management credentials, driving excellence through our partners and internal Data and Tech teams.
The Mobile App Delivery Lead is responsible for guiding the successful development and deployment of mobile applications. They oversee the entire lifecycle, from initial planning to final launch, ensuring the app meets quality standards, business requirements, and delivery timelines.
Principle Accountabilities- Project Planning and Execution: Developing and managing project plans, timelines, and budgets for our mobile app development initiative. Motivating, mentoring, and guiding development internal and 3rd party teams, ensuring they have the resources and support they need to succeed.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicating project progress and status to stakeholders, including product managers, executives, and other key stakeholders.
- Quality Assurance: Ensuring the app meets quality standards and performs as expected, including managing testing and quality assurance processes. Operational stability, performance, ongoing costs and security should be paramount throughout product development and BAU phases.
- Problem Solving: Identifying and resolving technical and business challenges that may arise during development. Identifying opportunities for improvement in the development process and implementing changes to enhance efficiency, quality, security and effectiveness.
- Release Management: Managing the release of new versions of the app, including planning, deployment, and post-release monitoring.
Experience of working as a Delivery Lead/Programme Manager in delivering Mobile app projects. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (or equivalent) preferred. Mobile App Platform & Business Project technical delivery experience. Proven ability to solve problems creatively. Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices. Experience of delivering customer facing Mobile app services and rolling out pilots with clearly defined measures of success.
This is an FTC role for 11 months.
