The Team
You will be reporting to the Product Owner and working closely with the Finance and Data and Tech team.
The Role
The Master Data Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day administration, maintaining, governing, and enhancing Landsecâs core master data across financial, operational, and propertyârelated domains. The role ensures data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with governance standards to support business operations, reporting, and decisionâmaking, aligned with industryâstandard master data management practices. This role sits within Landsecâs Finance System Admin Team, a specialist function responsible for the stewardship, administration, and optimisation of Landsecâs core financial systems. The Master Data Administrator reports directly to the Product Owner D365 and OneStream, who oversees the roadmap, governance, and continual improvement of Landsecâs finance platforms. As a key member of this central finance systems capability, the Master Data Administrator plays an essential role in ensuring Finance has access to consistent, accurate, and trusted master data to support consolidation, reporting, analysis, and operational performance.

Principle Accountabilities
- Master Data Maintenance & Quality: Create, validate, and maintain master data records across finance and operational systems (including Dynamics 365 Finance, FIS Treasury System, Banking Systems, Workday and OneStream) and processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency. This includes processing dayâtoâday administration requests such as setâup, amendments, inactivationâs, and corrections for entities including units, suppliers, customers, bank accounts, legal entities, and approval hierarchies, in line with documented procedures and approval controls.
- Conduct regular data quality reviews and implement cleansing activities to eliminate duplicates, errors, and incomplete records.
- Maintain audit logs and change records to support compliance, traceability, and internal controls requirements.
- Maintain and regularly update the Delegated Authority (DA) framework, reviewing approval hierarchies and access levels, identifying required changes, and coordinating formal senior management signâoff prior to implementation.
Data Governance & Compliance:
- Working with Data Governance Director to apply and uphold Landsecâs master data governance policies, ensuring adherence to data standards, ownership rules, and approval workflows.
- Support the continued improvement of master data governance frameworks, working closely with data stewards and key stakeholders to maintain data integrity and consistency.
- Support the design and enhancement of data quality rules, validation checks, and system controls.
CrossâFunctional Collaboration:
- Act as a key liaison between business units (Finance, Property, Operations, Procurement, Projects) and Data & Technology teams, ensuring business requirements are clearly understood and appropriately implemented.
- Coordinate with Data & Technology teams and external support partners during data migrations, system upgrades, and new system rollouts, ensuring accurate master data conversion, validation, and signâoff.
Process Improvement & Knowledge Sharing:
- Working with Data & Technology Team to proactively identify opportunities to streamline, improve and automate master data processes, controls, and data flows.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of training materials, guidance notes, and documentation to promote bestâpractice data handling across the organisation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives led by the Finance System Admin Team and the Product Owner.
Essential Criteria:
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy when working with large and complex data sets.
- Comfortable and confident working with technology, with the ability to quickly learn and use multiple business systems (e.g. ERP, EPM, Banking Systems), follow systemâdriven processes, and adapt to new tools and ways of working.
- Strong Excel skills, including the use of formulas (e.g. lookups, conditional logic), data validation, pivot tables, and data analysis techniques to support master data maintenance and quality checks.
- Experience working with ERP or financial reporting systems (e.g. Dynamics 365 Finance, OneStream or similar) and interaction with other business functions.
- Experience using Excel for data cleansing, reconciliation, and validation, including working with large datasets extracted from enterprise systems.
- Knowledge of financial master data, including General Ledger, cost centres, vendors, and customers.
- Understanding of data governance principles, data quality management, and data standards frameworks.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple business functions.
Desirable:
- Experience using Excel for data cleansing, reconciliation, and validation, including working with large datasets extracted from enterprise systems.
- Experience with Excel Data Add-ins for data management activities.
- Experience in toolsets for import, export, migrate, integrate, validate and manage data across environments.
