Woodbridge Town Council are looking for a Head Gardener to join their team. They are seeking an organised and community aware person to take direct responsibility for the gardening and maintenance of the Council’s wide and varied estate. Under the direction of the Estates Officer, you will become a recognisable and approachable member of the Council’s staff and build relationships with the Council’s tenants and park users.

You will manage and supervise the Assistant Gardener, and as a team you will work towards maintaining the overall appearance of the estate of the Council, which requires high standards of garden maintenance throughout the year by way of best horticultural practice and industry standards.

This is a full‑time position (37 hours per week), offering a salary of £35,412 plus entry in the Local Government Pension scheme.
