Salary package: Up to £55,000 per annum (DOE) + Bonus

Contract type: Permanent

Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week

Why this role matters

This role is responsible for the overall leadership and performance of the recruitment partnership. You will safeguard governance and compliance, strengthen stakeholder relationships and drive commercial growth in line with the agreed Business Plan. Your leadership will directly influence service quality, financial performance and long-term partnership success.

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead and develop a high performing team across Talent Partners and Resourcing & Customer Services
  • Drive delivery against profit and loss targets ensuring year on year gross profit growth and strong cost control
  • Build and maintain senior stakeholder relationships with Hammersmith & Fulham Council, shareholders and internal group partners
  • Oversee governance and compliance in line with employment legislation and the Procurement Act 2023
  • Manage and improve end to end recruitment and workforce processes ensuring strong controls and reportable exceptions
  • Monitor service performance against agreed service levels and lead continuous improvement initiatives
  • Prepare and present performance reports to the Executive Board and attend board meetings
  • Lead responses to audits and Freedom of Information requests ensuring accurate and timely reporting
  • Develop and implement attraction and retention strategies aligned to the Business Plan
  • Act as Data Protection Champion and Health and Safety representative for the partnership

What we’re looking for

  • Experience at a senior level within a recruitment agency or managed service environment
  • Proven track record of leading and developing high performing teams
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience managing profit and loss budgets
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation including Agency Workers Regulations IR35 and Equality legislation
  • Ability to influence and communicate effectively at senior stakeholder level
  • Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience delivering services into the public sector environment is desirable
  • Confident using recruitment CRM systems and Microsoft Office packages
