Due to the nature of the work being carried out, the successful candidate will need to have a Full (Clean) UK Driving Licence and be willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check which will be carried out by the company.
Landscape Services are looking for a dedicated, proactive and safety-conscious Grounds Maintenance Operative to join their team. In this hands-on role, you’ll carry out a variety of outdoor maintenance duties from grass and hedge cutting to line marking. What you’ll be doing
- Managing day-to-day grounds maintenance tasks to ensure work is completed to contract standards.
- Supporting grass cutting, hedge trimming, border maintenance and sports field marking.
- Working closely with the Grounds Maintenance Team Leader to resolve issues and follow instructions.
- Building effective relationships with customers and responding to on-site queries.
- Preparing and completing required paperwork, inspections and records.
- Caring for and maintaining machinery to ensure safe and correct use.
- Using company IT and equipment to record daily activity.
- Working safely and reporting incidents or near misses promptly.
