Responsibilities
So, what duties can you expect to do in your apprenticeship?
- Hands-on training in commercial landscapes across Sydney
- Work with one of Australia’s top landscape maintenance providers
- Learn plant ID, turf care, pruning, and seasonal routines
- Assist with mowing, planting, mulching, and pest control
- Operate horticultural tools and machinery safely
- Gain skills in irrigation, soil care, and sustainability
- Combine TAFE learning with on-the-job experience
- Progress toward a Certificate III in Parks & Gardens
- Work alongside experienced tradespeople and teams
- Build a strong foundation for a horticulture career
What you will need
- Driver\’s licence and own transport. Or ability to get to site.
