Salary/package: £30,500 per annum

Contract type: Permanent

Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week

Due to the nature of the work being carried out, the successful candidate will need to have a Full (Clean) UK Driving Licence and be willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check which will be carried out by the company.

We’re looking for a dedicated, skilled, and safety-conscious Arborist to join our Landscape Services team. In this hands-on role, you’ll work within our growing tree works department, carrying out a variety of arboricultural tasks from tree removal and pruning to inspections and reporting. What you’ll be doing

  • Performing general and specialised tree maintenance, including tree removal, pruning, and hedge cutting.
  • Inspecting trees and submitting reports electronically.
  • Working with the Arboriculture Team Leader to complete projects to specification and within agreed timeframes.
  • Maintaining clean, safe, and professional working practices on site.
  • Identifying risks and unsafe practices to minimise potential for injury or accidents, and reporting incidents or near misses.
  • Liaising with customers daily, ensuring Landscape Services is represented professionally and courteously.
  • Using equipment safely and adhering to current arboricultural standards and health and safety requirements.

What we’re looking for

  • Must have tickets equivalent to CS30, CS31, CS38 and CS39.
  • Physically fit and capable of climbing.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficient IT skills and the ability to complete documentation electronically.
  • A positive team player who enjoys working outdoors in all weather.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
