About The Role
These roles are based in Brisbane and Ipswich and include both full-time and casual opportunities across landscaping construction projects.
Essential Requirements
- A current driver’s license
- Access to a ute or vehicle (preferable)
- Experience in the landscaping construction industry (highly regarded)
- A current Construction White Card
- Landscaping or construction experience
- MR Licence (preferable – Operators only)
- RIIMPO320 (B, D or E) Excavator ticket (highly regarded – Operators only)
- RIIMPO318 (B, D or E) Skid Steer ticket (highly regarded – Operators only)
- Tasks And Responsibilities (Supervisors / Leading Hands)
- 3+ years in the landscape or construction industry or similar (highly regarded)
- Cert III in Landscape Construction or similar (highly regarded)
- Deliver both hard and soft landscaping works according to drawings, scope and specifications
- Co-ordination of materials, deliveries, mobile plant, subcontractors and staff
- Day-to-day management and supervision of job sites, including managing teams
- Measuring, calculating quantities and ordering additional materials as required
- Reading and understanding plans, drawings, scope and specifications
- Implementing Workplace Health & Safety procedures and policies, including SWMS and Toolbox Talks
- Communicating professionally with builders and clients and coordinating work with other trades
- Proactively identifying and reducing hazardous work conditions and reviewing work methods
