Boon Brown is seeking talented and ambitious Landscape Architects and Assistant Landscape Architects with a passion for high-quality, design-led landscape architecture to join our growing team. The role is primarily based in our London (Brixton) studio, although we are also open to applicants interested in joining our Somerset studio.
Boon Brown is a collaborative architecture, planning and landscape practice working across a wide range of projects in the UK. Our landscape team works closely with in-house architects and planners from early concept through to delivery, allowing landscape to play a meaningful and integrated role in shaping high-quality places. We value thoughtful design, clear communication and a supportive studio culture.
You will support the landscape team across a range of exciting projects, varying in scale and at different stages of the design and planning process. The role offers the opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary, design-focused environment.
Responsibilities Will Include:
- Contributing to projects from concept through to planning and delivery
- Attending design team and client meetings when required
- Acting as a point of contact on aspects of individual projects, with support from senior team members
- Assisting with project coordination and management
- Producing high-quality drawings, graphics and presentation material
About You:
- Degree and/or Postgraduate Diploma in Landscape Architecture (or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2+ years' experience in a landscape design practice
- Working towards Pathway to Chartership or already a Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (desirable)
- Strong graphic, visualisation and freehand drawing skills
- Good understanding of the UK planning process (beneficial)
- Confident, organised and professional, with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Right to work in the UK without sponsorship
Software Skills:
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and InDesign
- Experience with Keyscape, SketchUp or Revit is advantageous but not essential
