The Opportunity:
Our multi award-winning Landscape Design Team is seeking to appoint a talented and ambitious Graduate Landscape Architect, with an interest in all aspects of design and delivery for a diverse range of interesting and challenging project throughout Scotland.

Working in our city centre head office, as part of our busy Landscape Team, we are seeking an ambitious individual with excellent communication, design and technical skills who brings enthusiasm and a ‘can-do’ approach. Our workload is varied, interesting and challenging. We lead a wide range of projects supporting regeneration and sustainable placemaking; delivered through innovative approaches to design with a focus on working with communities to inspire and deliver meaningful outcomes and lasting project legacies. Our workload extends from feasibility/ design strategies/ concept designs through to detailed/ technical design & construction, contract management and site supervision.

Our workload is interesting and diverse; including sustainably led regeneration, civic & public realm, parks & greenspace. Current projects include:

• Urban Regeneration for Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverclyde & Renfrewshire; Placemaking in Shetland, Loch Lomond National Park and the Scottish Borders. Nationally important projects at Edinburgh Royal Botanic Gardens & Award-winning Edinburgh Futures Institute – UNESCO Best Campuses in the World Edinburgh
• A portfolio of live construction contracts at Maritime Mile Coastal Hub (Irvine), Victorian Palm House refurbishment at Edinburgh Botanics and future projects for Erskine, Stirling, Elgin, Queensferry and Lochshore Park.

Skills and Requirements:
We seek applicants who are Licentiate Members of the Landscape Institute and looking to secure Chartership; with 1/2 years’ experience you will be grounded in professional practice and ready to move onwards and upward. Capabilities in industry standard software including AutoCAD, SketchUp, MS Office, InDesign and Photoshop is of benefit. A driving licence is considered essential.
