The Role: As a Horticulturist, you will play a key role in maintaining and developing completed landscape projects, ensuring gardens continue to thrive and are presented to exceptional standards. Working as part of the aftercare team, you will deliver professional horticultural maintenance and plant care across a range of high-quality gardens, supporting the successful establishment and long-term health of planting schemes. This is a hands-on, site-based role, suited to someone with strong horticultural knowledge, a keen eye for detail, and pride in caring for exceptional landscapes.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Carrying out horticultural maintenance in line with aftercare schedules and site requirements
- Undertaking horticultural tasks including, but not limited to, planting, pruning, training, soil cultivation, mulching, lawn care, and seasonal maintenance works
- Monitoring plant health and identifying pests, disease, or maintenance needs
- Ensuring gardens are maintained to exceptional standards of presentation and care
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality garden care
What We’re Looking For:
Essential:- Minimum 1 years’ experience in horticulture or a related field
- Strong plant knowledge and understanding of plant care and maintenance principles
- Ability to carry out horticultural tasks to a high standard
- Understanding of workplace health & safety
- Reliable, punctual and well organised
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors year-round
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Relevant horticultural qualification
- Experience maintaining high-quality private or commercial gardens
- Full clean UK driving licence
