Job Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Marketing Assistant to join our growing team. As part of the email marketing team, you will be supporting the Email Specialist team to ensure seamless creation, execution and optimization of email campaigns aimed to increase customers engagement and drive sales. Working closely with the wider marketing team, you’ll assist with administrative tasks, campaign tracking, and data analysis. The role offers a fantastic opportunity for someone starting their digital marketing career, especially with a focus on email marketing.
Please note this role is hybrid and will require 9 days a month on-site in Rutland (UK)
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage promo codes for all email campaigns.
- Generate and track tasks in Asana for all e-mails campaigns.
- Support email campaign execution including uploading codes to Responsys, managing email routing, and scheduling campaigns on the marketing calendar.
- Support A/B testing by preparing the different email variations and assist with relevant administrative tasks.
- Track and analyse email campaign performance, focussing on key metrics such as demand, open rates, click-through rates (CTR), bounce rates, visits and conversion. Providing performance reports to the Senior Email Specialist and Head of Marketing.
- Compile, interpret data to identify trends and provide insights for improving email performance, increase customer engagement and retention.
- Provide email campaigns insights and support to build an accurate and robust email campaign forecast plans which are integral part of the wider Marketing Forecast Plans.
- Assist setting up and maintaining automated email workflows.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Responsys, Mailchimp) is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of HTML and experience with image editing tools like Photoshop.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
- Strong attention to detail in campaign content, design, and execution.
- Ability to analyse data and draw actionable insights from key performance metrics.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in German and/or French is desirable but not necessary.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a highly fast-paced environment.
- Strong creative problem-solving skills.
