Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Head of Traffic to join our Leadership team at Lands’ End Europe in Oakham, Rutland. This will be on a 5 day a week Contractor basis working freelance on a 6 month contract.

The Head of Traffic will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of all creative projects within the European Brand Communications & Creative department.

This role will be responsible for implementing and managing studio tasks and activity, managing workload, implementing a traffic solution, and managing team workload/holidays and resources across the department(s).

This senior role will act as a gatekeeper for all creative work ensuring it aligns with brand guidelines and deadlines.

The successful candidate will be a strong advocate for the creative team, championing their needs and ensuring their work is delivered to the highest standards.

Experience working in fashion or retail industry with digital marketing and social media campaigns is desired but not essential for the candidate.

What can you expect from this Role:

– Lead the development and implementation of project management methodologies across all creative disciplines

– Architect and implement a robust, data driven project management system

– Proactively identify and mitigate potential roadblocks and delays

– Collaborate closely with creative leads, project managers and key stakeholders

– Monitor team workload and forecast resource needs

– Develop and implement strategies for optimising team productivity and efficiency

– Act as a champion for the brand, creative & editorial/copy team

– Act as a key point of contact for all project-related inquiries, providing timely and accurate information.

Requirements:

– Proven experience in a senior project management or traffic management role within an agency or in-house creative department.

– Experience leading and implementing successful project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) within a fast-paced environment.

– Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams.

– Strong understanding of creative workflows and production processes across all disciplines (graphic design, copywriting, photography, video).

– Excellent organisational, time management, and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.

– Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

– A strong advocate for creative excellence with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality work.
