This is a full-time on-site role for a De-Veg Operative, located in Sussex, Wessex and Surrey. The De-Veg Operative will be responsible for the removal of vegetation along railways, utilities, and construction sites. Daily tasks include:
- Operating a variety of tools and machinery
- Ensuring safety compliance
- Maintaining clear communication with team members
The role requires a commitment to maintaining high standards of service and delivering projects on time.
Qualifications:
- Experience in vegetation management, forestry, or a related field
- Full clean driving licence preferable
- Proficiency in operating tools and machinery used in de-vegetation
- Knowledge of safety protocols and compliance in the rail, utility, or construction sectors
- Strong problem-solving skills and a solution-driven approach
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with colleagues
