Landowner Group is seeking a proactive Multi-Skilled Engineer to take ownership of the maintenance, reliability and continuous improvement of production equipment across its manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will support the manufacture of Animal Feed, AdBlue, Antifreeze, Screenwash and other products while leading engineering improvements, managing spare parts and supporting new projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of day-to-day maintenance activities across production operations.
- Carry out mechanical and electrical fault finding, repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Maintain filling lines, blending equipment, pumps, conveyors, pneumatic systems and associated production machinery.
- Diagnose and resolve breakdowns to minimise downtime and maximise production efficiency.
- Manage engineering spare parts inventory and ensure critical spares are maintained.
- Source and order parts, also consumables required for maintenance activities.
- Liaise with suppliers and contractors for technical support when needed.
- Installation, commissioning and improvement of new machinery and plant.
- Assist with PLC fault finding and work alongside external automation providers.
- Lead minor engineering projects from concept through to completion.
- Identify recurring failures and implement permanent corrective actions.
- Support production teams and provide technical guidance and training where required.
- Promote high standards of safety, housekeeping and engineering workmanship.
Ideal Candidate
- Recognized electrical qualification.
- Experience fault-finding electrical systems, motors, sensors, contactors and industrial machinery.
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and engineering drawings.
- Experience with pneumatics and production equipment.
- PLC fault-finding experience would be advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and take ownership.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Essential Skills
- Mechanical and electrical maintenance experience.
