Landor is looking for a Senior Motion Designer to join our London studio. We are Landor, part of WPP, world-leading brand experts, underpinned by the most expansive strategic & creative capabilities in our category. We make brands more valuable and less vulnerable. We build brands differently. We work with our clients to define and solve their business problems through the lens of brand.
As a Senior Motion Designer, you’ll be an integral part of our motion team, shaping motion design across a diverse mix of clients and industries. You’ll collaborate closely with our creative teams to expand and elevate ideas, delivering standout solutions across branding, broadcast, brand films, digital and social. This role is predominantly 2D motion design but will also involve 3D and editing projects. You’ll adapt your style to different brands while staying on top of the latest tools, trends and techniques in motion design and videography. You’ll bring both craft and creativity, helping to push our work forward with fresh input and bold storytelling.
What you’ll need:
- You’ll have proven experience in motion design and editing, with expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, After Effects and Premiere Pro.
- You’ll demonstrate strong art direction, conceptual thinking and animation skills, with a portfolio that shows versatility and flair across different brands and formats.
- Collaboration is key, so you’ll be a strong communicator and team player, organised and reliable with excellent time management.
- Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure are essential.
- Additional skills and experience that would be highly beneficial include:
- Experience with Cinema 4D or Houdini to create more advanced motion and 3D work.
- Strong film-making knowledge, from concept through to execution.
- Storyboarding expertise to help visualise ideas before production.
- Editing and sound design skills to bring projects to life with precision and atmosphere.
