Landor is looking for a Midweight Designer to join our London studio. We are Landor, world-leading brand experts, underpinned by the most expansive strategic and creative capabilities in our category. We make brands more valuable and less vulnerable. We build brands differently, working with our clients to define and solve their business problems through the lens of brand.
As a Midweight Designer, you will be a key player in our creative team, helping us deliver amazing design by:
- Dreaming up fresh, unique ideas and solving creative puzzles with original thinking to create striking and compelling designs.
- Working closely with Design Directors and the wider team to brainstorm and deliver creative solutions that truly hit the mark for our clients.
- Diving deep into conceptual exploration, exploring all avenues to find the best design solutions and ensuring we have considered every angle.
- Assessing design options and pushing the creative boundaries to come up with breakthrough ideas that align with our strategy and briefs.
- Helping to shape smart, innovative design strategies and plans.
- Collaborating with our internal teams and clients, sharing your passion for brilliant branding, packaging, motion, and visual communication.
- Being quick on your feet, contributing ideas, and inspiring those around you.
To thrive in this role, you will bring:
- Previous design experience within a brand or design agency.
- Solid experience working with consumer brands, especially in FMCG and packaging.
- A good grasp of the details involved in managing product messages, pack hierarchies, and how to make ranges easy to navigate.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop and Illustrator.
- A portfolio that showcases your knack for generating and developing creative ideas.
- A genuine interest in how digital and new tech can be woven into brand stories in smart, impactful ways.
- Up-to-date knowledge of the latest creative and design trends, and the ability to apply them.
- Great communication skills – confident in chatting with clients and collaborating easily with our team.
