Are you an ambitious SEN teacher ready to take the next step in your career? Join us at Landon School Harmondsworth (LSH) — a new, growing independent specialist school for children aged 5–11 with Autism — and become a key part of shaping a future centre of excellence in SEN education.

This role is perfect for someone who’s already delivering outstanding outcomes for pupils and is now looking to step into school leadership within the next 12–24 months. You’ll be supported, challenged, and nurtured as a future Assistant or Deputy Headteacher as our school expands to a multi-site provision for 100+ pupils.

Set in a green, spacious location just 10 minutes from West Drayton’s Elizabeth Line station, our school offers an inspiring environment for both pupils and professionals.

Who We’re Looking For: This is a unique opportunity for a skilled SEN teacher with a clear aspiration and readiness for school leadership. You’ll join us as a class teacher, but with enhanced responsibilities and a personalised leadership development pathway built into your role.

  • A teacher with a track record of strong outcomes for pupils with Autism.
  • Someone who already shows leadership potential and the ability to influence and inspire others.
  • Confident with line management procedures and ready to take on increasing responsibility.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Skilled in building strong, positive relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues.

What We Offer:

  • A leadership development role, designed to transition into Assistant or Deputy Headship within 12–24 months.
  • Ongoing mentoring and CPD, tailored to support your leadership growth.
  • Opportunities to lead on key areas of school development from early on.
  • A growing school with a culture of promotion from within.
  • A beautiful, well-resourced setting with a forward-thinking team.
  • A supportive and collaborative working environment where your ideas and leadership will be valued.
