At Landon School we are seekinga passionate and proactive Occupational Therapist to join our dedicatedmultidisciplinary team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivatedprofessional with a genuine interest in autism and severe learning difficultiesto support our pupils' sensory, motor and functional development, empoweringthem to access meaningful learning both within school and the wider community.
Key Responsibilities
- Managea varied caseload of children and young people with autism and severe learningdifficulties, working collaboratively with the therapy team and seniorleadership
- Deliverevidence-based Occupational Therapy assessments, programmes, and interventionsacross school, home, and community settings
- Collaboratewith teaching and therapeutic colleagues to co-produce tailored sensory diets,motor skill development plans, and life-skills support appropriate to ourpupils' needs
- Contributeto EHCPs through clear clinical reporting, outcomes setting, and professionaladvice
- Providetraining and support for school staff and families to promote consistency andextend therapeutic gains across settings
- Support the school's exceptional 1:2 staff ratiosthrough effective collaboration and communication with the wider team

Essential Requirements
- Degreeor Diploma in Occupational Therapy
- HCPCregistration
- Experienceworking with children and/or young people with autism, severe learningdifficulties or additional needs in education, health or social care
- Strongunderstanding of sensory processing, motor development, and functional skillsinterventions
- Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills, with experience contributing to EHCPsor multidisciplinary reviews
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare ofchildren

Landon School is an independentspecial day school in Harmondsworth, West London, serving children aged 5-11(expanding to age 18 from January 2026) with autism and severe learningdifficulties. Since opening in October 2024, we have achieved an OutstandingOfsted rating (July 2025) and built a nurturing, supportive environment whereour students can thrive.
