We are currently recruiting for catering assistants. Do you enjoy working with people? Then why not come and join our friendly catering team? We have three different catering outlets at Landmark Forest Adventure Park. Successful applicants will enjoy plenty of variety. Each outlet has a slightly different offering, but the objective is the same – be friendly and helpful to our customers! If you think you can do that, then you should get in touch. Don’t worry if you haven’t previously worked in catering, as full training will be provided.
Responsible to: Catering Supervisors & Food and Beverage Manager
Rate of pay: £13.45 per hour (plus Annual Bonus Scheme and other great benefits) for those aged 18+. We also employ younger staff (14-17 years) at a lower rate of pay. Ask for details.
Type of role: Both part-time and full-time positions are available. These positions are seasonal (available up until October 2026).
Personal Attributes: Our main aim at the park is to make sure visitors have a great day. To achieve this, our Catering Assistants need to be friendly and helpful. You’ll be working as part of a team, so you should be able to communicate with other team members. We will provide you with full training – you should therefore be someone who can follow instructions. Help promote a healthy working environment by listening to and encouraging others. Be flexible and able to respond quickly to the changing requirements of the business.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Taking orders from customers at our onsite catering outlets (Forester’s Cafe, Pinewood Grill and Snack Shack) – full training will be provided!
- Ensuring stock is displayed correctly and filled up for the day ahead.
- Assisting with the opening and closing of catering outlets.
- Following daily/weekly cleaning schedules.
- Report any H&S incidents to Catering Supervisors.
- Report all complaints to a Catering Supervisor.
- Contribute to the smooth running of the department and all areas of responsibility.
- Support the Catering Supervisors with additional tasks as required.
