A Day in Your Neighbourhood:

  • Lead the welcome: You’ll oversee day-to-day front desk operations, from check-in and check-out to guest queries, payments, and everything in between.
  • Inspire the team: Motivate, coach, and support receptionists and front office team members to deliver attentive, upbeat, and personal service.
  • Connect with guests: Be visible and approachable in the lobby, ready to listen, assist, and elevate guest satisfaction through every interaction.
  • Drive performance: Track guest feedback and front desk KPIs, ensuring we meet service standards and continuously improve experiences; monitoring the team’s enrolment of new members to the IHG One Rewards programme.
  • Smooth Operator: Assist with rota planning, shift supervision, and training new team members on systems, brand standards, and emergency procedures.
  • Be A Step Ahead: Liaise with housekeeping, maintenance, and reservations to keep communication flowing and surprises to a minimum.

What’s Your Story? You’re a people person with a calm head, great instincts, and a flair for hospitality. Here’s what helps you thrive in this role as Front Office Manager:

  • Experience in a hotel reception or front office team, ideally in a managerial role for 3+ years.
  • Experience within an IHG hotel.
  • Knowledge of hotel systems (Opera PMS is a plus!)
  • A passion for people, service, and attention to detail.
  • Clear communicator who stays calm under pressure.
  • Fluent in English (additional languages are a bonus).
  • A warm and professional presence that makes people feel at home.
  • Experience with pre-openings is a bonus!
