The Business Development Manager plays a pivotal role in driving growth across Searchflow’s existing client portfolio while uncovering new opportunities within commercial real estate law firms and residential conveyancing practices. Leveraging their proven sales expertise, they craft and close complex, high-value deals in dynamic, digitally evolving markets. Operating with confidence and agility in a fast-paced, client-centric environment, they combine deep market insight with a strong understanding of customer needs to build lasting relationships and unlock new business opportunities for Searchflow. The core mission of this role is to accelerate sales growth as part of a high-performing team, aligning with Landmark’s cultural values and strategic objectives. Demonstrating ambition, resilience, and a results-driven mindset, the Business Development Manager consistently delivers exceptional sales performance.
The role will involve:
- Identifying new business opportunities and clients
- Develop and implement growth strategies aligned with company objectives and in line with the strategic direction given by the Legal Market Sales Manager
- Conducting market research and competitor analysis to inform decision-making.
- Building and maintain strong relationships with clients, and external partners, and stakeholders.
- Drive personal lead generation and conversion activities and take ownership of leads identified by the sales team.
- Identify customer needs and feedback for product/service improvement to relevant teams
- Ensure CRM is updated regularly to maintain quality information for business decision making.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
- Assess risks associated with new business opportunities.
About You
You’ll bring extensive experience in customer-facing roles and a relentless drive to exceed expectations. With a solid background in field sales or account management, ideally within B2B environments, you’ll excel at networking and relationship building, creating lasting connections with clients and colleagues alike.
You will also demonstrate:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong knowledge of professional account selling techniques
- Ability to craft and deliver persuasive presentations
- Confidence working remotely and proficiency with Microsoft Office and industry-specific tools
