The predicted salary is between 44595 - 54505 £ per year.

The Senior Land Referencer is responsible for assisting the deputy manager in leading the land referencing process relative to the delivery of successful outcomes for renewable energy and strategic infrastructure projects.

This includes land rights identification, Schedule compilation and completion, GIS mapping and CPO plan production.

System development, project governance, client and contractor management, and stakeholder engagement.

The role ensures support and Guidance to the referencers and to project progression from origination through pre-planning while upholding organisational standards and commercial expectations.

The role will involve but will not be limited to

  • Providing a high-quality service to Millar & Bryce customers comprising of handling land reference searches.
  • Ability to lead and support research within all necessary registers available within the UK that support the land referencing process
  • The ability to lead the delivery of accurate land interest information relative to major infrastructure projects and to lead the search and land referencing process.
  • Ensure that the quality control criteria are met
  • Support strategy and process to enable colleagues to deliver project goals and timelines and that targeted levels are met.
  • Processing external/internal requests for information, publications, mapping etc.
  • Extracting relative information from appropriate sources (may include site visits to sites across the UK and interviewing owners/occupiers of properties)
  • Consistently and accurately lead the production of schedules, books of reference and plans suitable for supporting compulsory purchase and registration
  • Supporting the wider Millar & Bryce teams to ensure that performance standards and business objectives are met.

About You

You will be a confident communicator who is driven to deliver results. You will also be/have:

  • Land referencing experience through the Scottish Saisine and land registration
  • Optional HM Land Registry experience
  • ARCGIS experience including accurate data management
  • Ability to administer map set-up within GIS platforms and support teams in the effective use of digital mapping tools
  • Excellent administrative, planning and organisational skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Experience of providing outstanding customer service
  • Capability to build strong collaborative relationships internally and externally
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise a varied workload
  • Ability to meet demanding timelines
  • Support the maintenance of budget accrual reporting
