The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.
Support the Facilities and Compliance Manager in the organisation and maintenance of the UK facility, in accordance with Health & Safety Policy. Be the support function for the Operational and Office teams in providing necessary and essential equipment to perform their normal duties. Contribute to future project strategies, champion and implement policies and standard operating procedures.
Follow, champion and lead by example on all Facility Standard Operating Procedures. Uphold the maintenance and organisational requirements of the following:
- Building Structure internal/external
- Plant
- Leases (equipment)
- Asset Register
- Maintenance contracts
Take an analytical approach, alongside logical and practical methods, to fine tune procurement processes and maintenance works (planned/unplanned) with minimal disruption to the business. Attend Operational bi-weekly/monthly to provide H&S guidance and regulations changes, plus updates on any planned works and provision of consumables.
Take a very proactive approach to the planning of facility’s needs/requirements, assist in peak planning and actively communicate with key stakeholders. Control supply and cost management of Operational & Office consumables.
Contribute to the day-to-day monitoring and managing of Health & Safety for the UK Entity:
- Liaise with external consultant ensuring compliance with all UK H&S legislation
- Facilitate and implement H&S standards with all LG UK staff, ensuring compliance from all levels
- Maintain all H&S policies and procedures
- Liaise with the HSE, where necessary
- Safety audits
- Liaise with the Fire Consultant
- Main Fire Marshall for the Facility
Establish important relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective production throughout the operation. Assist Facilities and Compliance Manager in the preparation of departmental budgets to minimise fluctuations in Facility overhead costs throughout the year. Liaise with 3rd Party Communications contractors – Telephony and Mobile phone issues. Maintain sustainability (ESG) reports and responsible for data gathering of facility related tasks.
