Head of Fundraising, Christian Charity, SW London / Surrey, c£40-£45k + package Wonderful opportunity exists at this SW London / Surrey based Christian charity for an experienced Senior Fundraiser to join their established team to drive income streams for the organisation as it’s work and reach grows globally in supporting and advocating freedom of belief for all. Reporting in to the Chief Operating Officer you will lead and mentor a team of 5 (including established Major Donor manager) to further develop and enhance their capabilities. You will develop and deliver the fundraising strategy, maximising existing revenue and leading the growth and diversification of income streams, with a particular emphasis on grant giving, regular donors and supporting the international development of the organisation. You will take responsibility for achieving stretching income targets for Trust and Foundation fundraising, Grant giving, Major donor fundraising, Individual and regular giving, Legacy income and Church and Community giving. In addition you will explore diversification of income generation through forward-thinking strategic development of the department, including but not limited to developing proposals for generating a corporate giving income stream, working with the COO and international development team to support plans for partner and supporter growth internationally, looking at Digital and online giving such as utilising micro and crowd funding platforms as well as developing hosted, facilitated and/or championed fundraising events and challenges. And there’s more, much more! You can demonstrate a successful track record in Professional Fundraising and managing a Fundraising team at a senior level. Experience of fundraising databases / CRM e.g. Raisers Edge, etc helpful as would experience of working with statutory funders – DiFD, EU Grants, FCO, etc. In addition you have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a strong Christian Faith as it is an Occupational Requirement under the Equality Act 2010 that the post holder will be a practising Christian with a mature faith.
