An outstanding opportunity exists in this role for an expanding charity based in London. The role is open to an experienced charity Head of Fundraising / Director of Income / Senior Fundraising Manager with a broad expertise around charity fundraising to head up the organisation’s income‑creating capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Work as part of the newly structured senior leadership team, collaborating closely with the CEO, Director of Programmes and Head of Outreach.
- Manage a small team and lead their fundraising activities, including the Outreach team.
- Co‑ordinate and develop the income function, translating strategic fundraising objectives into operational plans.
- Represent the organisation externally, building and maintaining relationships with individuals, corporate partners, major donors, trusts, foundations, and events.
- Submit fundraising proposals, deliver reports, and provide coaching/training for staff and volunteers.
Qualifications & Skills
- Significant experience in charity fundraising management (charity, CIC or social enterprise).
- Strong monitoring, evaluation and reporting skills, with financial management experience including budgets and reporting.
- Excellent relationship‑building, staff and volunteer management, training and motivating abilities.
- Strategic thinking, organisational and collaborative skills, with excellent written and verbal communication.
- Experience across multiple income streams (Individual Giving, Corporate, Major Donor, Trusts & Foundations, Events, etc.) is desirable.
Salary: up to c£50,000 (pro rata 0.6‑0.8 FTE). Initial 3‑year contract, generous annual leave.
