Digital Project Manager, Charity/NfP, c£40k pro rata
Overview
An experienced Digital Project Manager with strong experience managing 3rd party developers and internal relationships will have a fantastic opportunity available for this disability charity/NfP membership organisation based in London. The Digital Project Manager can be either predominantly home office based, or in their central London offices, or a hybrid combination (applications will be looked at very flexibly for UK “right to work” candidates who cannot easily reach London). The organisation is a growing organisation and as part of their Digital Strategy Programme the Digital Project Manager is needed, initially on a 6 month contract (possible extension) to help them transform and be fit for future.
Responsibilities
- Lead projects to upgrade the website (WordPress) and the members date repository portal (large content migration) alongside a range of smaller digital solutions with budgets up to 100k.
- Manage internal resources and stakeholders, collaborate with 3rd party agency developers, and maintain budgetary responsibility.
- Focus on digital accessibility as a high priority across projects.
- Cover the full project lifecycle (from tender tail-end, kick-offs, project status, reporting, documentation, user stories, test scripts, test sign-off, post-implementation support, retros, etc.).
- Apply a traditional methodological approach with a mix of Waterfall and Agile practices.
- Possibly take responsibility for weekly/daily status standups, documentation, user test scripts, and Gantt charts.
Qualifications
- Demonstrable track record of successful Waterfall and Agile project delivery for public-facing digital projects.
- Strong skills in project management tools (Jira / MS Project) and knowledge of digital technologies and how web systems are constructed.
- Experience in Charity / NfP, Public-facing / sector or Memberships organisation environments is very helpful.
- Experience with WordPress and Salesforce / CRM projects is desired but not essential; more important are the communication and delivery skills with a variety of internal and external parties.
Contract, Location and Benefits
The position is offered initially as a 6 month FTC with salary up to £40k pro rata, including benefits and flexible working practices.
