Landmarc Support Services are currently seeking to recruit a Training Estate Public Safety (TEPS) to join our dedicated team. In this role you will play a key part in helping to maintain a safe, efficient and sustainable place for our Armed Forces to train. We are looking for someone enthusiastic about working in an outdoor environment, dedicated to supporting the Military. Shifts run between: You will be required to work flexibly over the course of a 35 hour working week between the hours of 0600 - 2100 Monday - Sunday. Shifts will vary dependant on business need and time of year. Rotas will be discussed in interview.

Annual Allowances: £1,860.38 for working weekends (included in salary)
Location: Westdown Camp, Tilshead, Salisbury, Wiltshire, SP3 4RS
Main Responsibilities
- Patrolling the Defence Training Estate to establish and maintain a safe place to train for troops, and for public visiting the site
- To ensure that the Defence Training Estate is kept in top condition
- Reporting and monitoring defects and untoward occurrences such as; fly tipping, vandalism and other illegal activity
- Carry out preventative, planned and reactive maintenance tasks
- Grounds Maintenance and Housekeeping
- To liaise with stakeholders to ensure effective training area delivery
- Driving and operating fleet vehicles
- Using radio communication equipment.
The Ideal Candidate
- Knowledge of Landscape & Rural Maintenance
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic labouring, caretaking and housekeeping skills
- Basic IT skills with ability to use a tablet
- Ability to work effectively in a diverse, fast-paced team environment
- Good knowledge of Health and Safety such as COSHH, manual handling, risk assessments and safe systems of work
- A valid Manual UK driving licence is essential to carry out the duties of this role
Desirable Knowledge / Qualifications
- Demonstrate proven track record of achieving objectives
- Knowledge of range standing orders and assignment instructions.
- Experience as a range or training area user.
- Experience with off road driving.
- Map reading.
- Experience using radios and voice procedure.
- IOSH working safely.
- Ability to complete documentation.
- Work in a diverse multitasking mobile team environment
- Demonstrate proven track record of achieving objectives
