Landmarc Support Services is recruiting a Training Area & Facilities Manager to ensure safe, compliant and operational training facilities, ranges and infrastructure across the Defence Training Estate.
This role suits someone confident coordinating activity across a busy training environment, maintaining high compliance standards and supporting effective contract delivery.

- What You’ll Do
- Manage site, ranges, training area and facilities usage and carry out routine inspections to identify maintenance and activity requirements
- Maintain and update assignment instructions and range documentation
- Identify best practice, drive continuous improvement and support environmental standards
- Identify opportunities for income generation and additional tasked work
- Complete audits and inspections and deputise for the Area Delivery Manager when required
- Manage contractors in line with policy and procedures
- Liaise with stakeholders including regional advisors, technical specialists and the multi‑disciplinary team to support effective contract delivery
Essential
- Knowledge of COSHH, manual handling, risk assessments and safe systems of work at IOSH Managing Safely level
- Knowledge of environmental legislation and compliance gained through IEMA or relevant experience
- Understanding of infrastructure and facilities management such as SFG20
- Confident communicating with customers and stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to interpret range orders, standing orders and JSPs
- Proficient user of MS packages and off‑the‑shelf software (ideally Maximo)
- Full UK driving licence

- Knowledge of military stores and JSPs
- Knowledge of Matrix management
