Landmarc Support Services are currently seeking to recruit a Training Area Operative (Main Towers Assistant) to join our dedicated team.

In this role you will play a key part in helping to maintain a safe, efficient and sustainable place for our Armed Forces to train.

We are looking for someone enthusiastic about working in an outdoor environment, dedicated to supporting the Military.

Salary: £29,783.18Location: Holbeach AWR, Durhams Road, Dawsmere, Spalding, Lincolnshire, PE12 9NJContract: Permanent / Full‑time / On-site

  • What You’ll Do
  • General & Grounds maintenance duties as required.
  • General Opening Up Duties (Keys, Flags, Notices)
  • Operation of basic IT Systems
  • Face to face, Radio & Telephone Communication
  • Management of Range Booking Procedures (Email, Telephone, Paper & Electronic Booking records)
  • Recording basic information via IT and in written format.
  • Meteorological Observations (Full Training Given).
  • General Range Safety Observation duties.
  • What We’re Looking For
  • Essential Ability to work as part of a team in a safety critical environment.
  • An ability and willingness to learn new skills.
  • Good communication skills Face to Face, Telephone and Radio.
  • Competent in the taking in and recording verbally given information.
  • Basic IT skills
  • Numeracy and literacy skills (GCSE and above).
  • A valid Manual UK driving licence is essential to carry out the duties of this role
  • Desirable Experience in working as part of a team.
  • Experience in Meteorological Observations (desirable but not essential)
  • Experience in Communication / Reception duties
  • Experience in General & Grounds Maintenance duties
