Landmarc Support Services is currently seeking to recruit a Site Operative to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for looking after the Training Estate facilities, typical tasks will include cleaning accommodation blocks, and maintaining the grounds and buildings to ensure a safe, efficient and sustainable place for our Armed Forces to stay while they train.

- Contract: Permanent / Full‐time / On-site
- Hours: Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 16:00, Friday 08:00 - 15:30
Landmarc provides the essential support services that enable Armed Forces to train for frontline operations across the UK Defence Training Estate. We maintain safe, sustainable infrastructure, operate training areas and ranges, and deliver major projects that enhance vital military training assets. What You’ll Do
- To ensure that the Training Estate Facilities are fit for purpose
- Waste collection/sorting/recycling
- Housekeeping and cleaning of the facilities and accommodation blocks
- General building maintenance
- Basic Grounds maintenance
- Operation and maintenance of plant equipment (training will be provided)
- Driving and operating fleet vehicles
- Complete all relevant documentation utilising both IT and paper based systems
- Carry out any other additional requirements as needed
- Work in a diverse multi-tasking mobile team environment
What We’re Looking For
- Essential
- Knowledge of Health & Safety, COSHH, manual handling, risk assessments and safe systems of work
- Excellent communicator with people on all levels
- Basic labouring skills
- Basic IT skills with the ability to use a tablet
- Willingness to undertake further training
- Applicants must hold a valid UK driving licence due to the rural location of this site (essential)
- The individual will need to be inoculated against Hepatitis A + B, Diphtheria, Polio and Tetanus (which will be undertaken once in post and will be paid for by the company).
