We maintain safe, sustainable infrastructure, operate training areas and ranges, and deliver major projects that enhance vital military training assets. Our vision is simple: to provide the best possible training experience for our Armed Forces.What You'll DoManage and maintain core infrastructure platforms including Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Hyper-V, storage and backup environments.Support system monitoring, patch management, vulnerability remediation and disaster recovery activities to ensure secure and resilient services.Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, server and application issues, providing technical expertise across the organisation.Support infrastructure upgrades, technology refresh programmes and continuous improvement initiatives.Assist with the migration of services and workloads to Microsoft Azure.Work closely with colleagues across Technology, scripting and automationIT Service Management processesITIL v4 Foundation certification.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.DesirableExperience of one or more of the following would be advantageous:Microsoft Azure administration and cloud servicesInfrastructure modernisation or cloud migration projectsSCCM / Microsoft Configuration ManagerSCVMMSolarWindsHPE server and storage platformsNetworking technologies (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)Cyber security and vulnerability managementMicrosoft 365 administration
