Landmarc Support Services is seeking a motivated Facilities Team Leader to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead a group of operatives dedicated to the upkeep and maintenance of the Training Estate facilities. Typical tasks include cleaning accommodation blocks and maintaining the grounds and buildings to ensure a safe, efficient and sustainable place for our Armed Forces to stay while they train.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead team members in duties and performance
- Play an active role – a good deal of your time will be split between working alongside your team as well as supporting the Site supervisor with the administration of the site.
- Undertake/oversee daily cleaning duties within facilities blocks ensuring relevant paperwork is updated
- Oversee stock levels, ensuring materials and supplies are managed efficiently
- Carry out ground maintenance tasks
- Operate and maintain plant machinery and equipment
- Conduct general estate maintenance tasks
- Ensure full compliance with all Health & Safety regulations & company policy
- Complete all necessary documentation using both IT and paper‑based systems
- Perform additional tasks as needed to support the overall success of the team under the guidance of the Site Supervisor
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience of soft facilities management services
- General experience in housekeeping, building and grounds maintenance
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage at all levels
- IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office and database management
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety protocols, including COSHH, manual handling, and risk assessments
- Experience operating plant machinery (desirable)
- A proactive approach to learning and personal development
- Proven ability to organise, prioritise and plan workload
- Flexibility to work in an ever‑changing work environment
- A valid UK manual driving licence is essential for this role
