Landmarc Support Services, a leading facilities management provider across the UK Defence Training Estate, is looking for a proactive Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at West Tofts Camp. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, enjoys variety, and thrives in a hands‑on, mobile working environment with strong problem‑solving skills. You’ll play a key part in keeping our estate safe, functional and ready for use by delivering a wide range of maintenance, repair and inspection tasks. From internal and external fabric maintenance to preventative checks and compliance inspections, your work will directly support the smooth running of the Training Estate.
Main Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance to buildings, assets and equipment
- Conduct inspections to ensure safety, compliance and operational readiness
- Deliver work to Training Estate Support Contract (TESC) standards, including asset care and stock management
- Follow all Health & Safety requirements, including risk assessments and safe systems of work
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, contractors and stakeholders to support effective site delivery
- Maintain and develop your technical skills through ongoing training
- Drive and operate fleet vehicles, travelling to regional sites when required
- Support additional maintenance tasks as needed to meet operational demands
What We’re Looking For
- Level 3 qualification (e.g., City & Guilds) or equivalent multi‑trade experience
- Strong practical skills across building fabric maintenance and general repairs including minor plumbing, carpentry and general DIY tasks.
- Confident using and maintaining a range of tools and equipment
- Good understanding of Health & Safety standards (COSHH, risk assessments, etc.)
- Experience working at heights and with asbestos awareness
- Clear communicator with the ability to work independently and as part of a mobile team
- Willingness to participate in the on‑call rota
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
