Landmarc Support Services is currently seeking to recruit a Site Operative to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for looking after the Training Estate facilities. Typical tasks will include cleaning accommodation blocks and maintaining the grounds and buildings to ensure a safe, efficient and sustainable place for our Armed Forces to stay while they train.
Shifts run between: 07:30 - 23:30 from Monday to Sunday. Hours of work: 37 per week. Contract: Permanent. Annual Allowances: Β£1,127.50 for working weekends. Location: Longmoor Camp, Liss, Hampshire, GU33 6EL.
Main Responsibilities:
- Looking after the camp's general cleanliness, ensuring it is fit for purpose.
- Cleaning offices, communal facilities and accommodation blocks, including ablutions, shower blocks etc.
- Performing general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Conducting handover/handback of accommodation.
- General building maintenance.
- Basic grounds maintenance.
- Stock management tasks.
- Completing all relevant documentation utilising both IT and paper-based systems.
- Carrying out any other additional requirements as needed.
The Ideal Candidate:
- General housekeeping and caretaking knowledge.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrate proven track record of achieving objectives.
- Knowledge of Plant Machinery.
- Ability to complete documentation.
- Basic IT skills with ability to use a tablet.
- Applicants must hold a valid UK driving licence due to the rural location of this site (essential).
