Based at Longmoor Camp, near Liss, Hampshire, this is a fully site-based role. Salary: 45,000 - 55,000 DOE. Plus Car Allowance.

About the Role

We’re looking for a highly capable Quantity Surveyor with a strong focus on project delivery to join our Regional Commercial Team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on owning projects end-to-end, managing cost, risk, and commercial performance across a varied portfolio of Billable and Core Works. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with NEC contract requirements, while working closely with operational and client stakeholders.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Taking full commercial responsibility for projects across the lifecycle (from pricing through to final account)
  • Managing cost planning, forecasting, CVRs, and financial reporting
  • Leading on NEC contract administration, ensuring robust commercial control
  • Preparing and managing pricing, variations, and formal submissions
  • Identifying and managing risk and opportunity across projects
  • Supporting delivery teams to ensure cost-effective and compliant project execution
  • Managing and challenging the supply chain to drive performance and value
  • Working closely with stakeholders (DIO, clients, consultants) to provide commercial insight and governance
  • Supporting audits and ensuring strong commercial compliance and controls

What We’re Looking For

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience as a Project Quantity Surveyor, managing projects independently
  • Strong track record of commercial management across full project lifecycle
  • Extensive experience with NEC contracts (essential)
  • Background in construction or FM project environments
  • Confidence managing cost, risk, and stakeholder expectations simultaneously

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong understanding of cost management, contract law, and project delivery
  • Experience producing CVRs, cost forecasts, and commercial reports
  • Ability to challenge, influence, and negotiate effectively
  • Proficient in MS Excel and project planning tools
  • Knowledge of H&S, CDM, and compliance requirements
  • Familiarity with PSA Schedule of Rates (desirable)
