Landmarc Support Services is recruiting an Electronic Systems Technician to join our small, specialist technical team based at Brunswick, on the outskirts of Pirbright Camp. This is a unique hands‐on role supporting the Defence Training Estate, where you'll maintain and repair electronic targetry equipment and associated firing systems used on live firing ranges. You'll carry out inspections, testing, and general maintenance while working closely with Range HQ to ensure safe operations at all times.

Main Responsibilities

  • Carry out maintenance and repairs on all Electronic Targetry equipment across the Home Counties with associated travel costs covered by the company.
  • Plan and coordinate a preventative maintenance programme for Targetry assets.
  • Manage and maintain local Targetry spare parts, reporting any shortages to the Range & Training Area Manager.
  • Provide advice and support on Electronic Targetry issues to local teams.
  • Offer support to other technicians in the South East during periods of sickness or holiday.
  • Complete accurate work orders, timesheets, and expense claims, submitting them promptly.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, managers, and external partners.
  • Ensure all work is completed within strict timeframes to meet KPI requirements.

The Ideal Candidate

  • NVQ qualification in Electrical and/or Mechanical disciplines (or equivalent).
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements including COSHH, manual handling, risk assessments, and safe systems of work.
  • Confident communicator with experience engaging with customers.
  • Knowledge of working in confined spaces.
  • Basic understanding of UHF radio systems, computer hardware/software, Wi‐Fi, and Ethernet configuration.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and circuit diagrams.
  • Competence in stripping and assembling equipment down to component level.
  • Experience with Targetry or similar Electronic systems (desirable).
  • UK Driving Licence is essential.
