Landmarc Support Services has an exciting opportunity for a detail‑oriented Operations Room Administrator to join our team at Barry Buddon Camp. This role provides essential administrative and operational support, helping to maintain a Safe Place to Train for military and other users of the Training Estate. Main Responsibilities
- Maintain a Safe Place to Train for all military and estate users
- Provide administrative support and manage radio/telephone communications
- Keep accurate records and follow structured operational processes
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, protocols and incident procedures
- Use bespoke software and Microsoft Office tools
- Communicate professionally with stakeholders, even under pressure
- Participate in a 24/7 shift rotation, including on‑call duties
- Work as part of a small, high‑performing team on 12‑hour day/night shifts
The Ideal Candidate
- Experienced in administrative or support roles with strong organisational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new systems

- Knowledge of mapping and grid referencing
- Full UK driving licence (due to location)

Shift Pattern
You’ll work a predictable 10‑week rota with long‑notice scheduling:
- Day shifts: 07:00–19:00
- Night shifts: 19:00–07:00
- Pattern: 2 days → 2 nights → 4 days off
Weeks 9–10 follow a 42‑hour week based on operational needs. We publish the full rota up to 18 months in advance, so you can plan holidays, family time, and commitments with confidence.
